Welcome to the Zacchaeus Project. A ministry where Jesus is at the centre and from where we share His love and salvation.
My name is Esther van Wijk and in 2023 I founded, through God's grace, the Zacchaeus Project.
As a young child I gave my life to Jesus and from a young age God touched my heart for the people in need.
About fifteen years ago I experienced how God pulled me out of the pit after a difficult period in my life.
I knew I could not keep this miracle to myself. I wanted to obey God's voice telling me to go out to tell others about the hope and salvation through Jesus Christ.
The Lord opened doors to reach out to the most vulnerable. Amongst them being young people on the streets, people addicted to drugs and alcohol and people working in prostitution.

It is a privilege to take others alongside. It is my desire to follow Jesus wherever He sends, just as a simple disciple, full of the Holy Spirit and to live in dependance upon Him.
The Zacchaeus Project wants to serve. First serving God, serving the people living in darkness, serving the church and serving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
I pray that Jesus may touch your heart in a personal way through this ministry and that we will grow together in a deeper understanding of Christ's love for this world which makes us want to follow Him even more fearlessly.
